🔒 Create a Lock
The TON INU Locker also includes a creator flow for locking jettons for a chosen period.
You can open the creator flow here:
Before you begin
Before creating a lock, make sure that:
- you have a TON wallet connected
- you are connected with the wallet that holds the jettons
- you know the correct jetton address
- you have enough jettons available for the amount you want to lock
Creating a lock is free from the platform side, but you still need to cover blockchain gas costs.
Creating a new lock
The lock creation flow is straightforward.
1. Enter the jetton address
Start by entering the jetton address. The dApp validates the address and loads the related jetton information.
2. Wait for jetton data to load
Once the address is accepted, the page loads the relevant token details and your wallet balance for that jetton.
This lets you confirm that you are working with the correct asset before proceeding.
3. Choose the amount to lock
Enter the number of jettons you want to lock.
The form also shows your current balance and includes a MAX helper so you can lock the full available amount if needed.
4. Set the unlock date and time
Choose when the lock should expire.
The dApp requires a minimum lock time of 24h.
5. Confirm the transaction
When the form is valid, use the Lock Jettons action and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
After confirmation, the lock becomes visible through the public locker flow.
What happens after a lock is created
Once the lock is active:
- the locked jettons cannot be accessed before the unlock time
- the public locker can show the lock amount, owner, and unlock countdown
- the lock can be used by other users as part of project research
Withdrawing after unlock
When the lock period has ended, the owner can withdraw the locked jettons from the locker details page.
If the lock has already been withdrawn, the page shows that completed state instead of an active amount.
Important checks before locking
Before creating a lock, review:
- whether the jetton address is correct
- whether the amount is correct
- whether the unlock timestamp is intentional
- whether you are connected with the correct owner wallet
Once tokens are locked, they cannot be accessed until the chosen unlock time is reached. Double-check the amount and unlock date before confirming.
