Managing Wallets

This page explains how to add, rename, list, and remove tracked wallets.

If Tracker feels confusing at first, this is usually the page that fixes it. Most user questions come down to one thing:

  • where the wallet was added
  • under which scope it was added
  • who is allowed to see or manage that scope

The most important rule

Before you add a wallet, decide where it belongs:

  • private if the wallet is only for you
  • group if the wallet should belong to one Telegram group

If you choose the wrong scope, Tracker may still work, but later you may think the wallet β€œdisappeared” because you are looking in another scope.

Add a wallet in private scope

Use private scope when:

  • you want a personal watchlist
  • you do not want the wallet shared with a group
  • you are testing the bot for yourself

Typical path:

  1. Open the bot in your private Telegram chat.
  2. Start the add-wallet flow, or open Manage in the Mini App.
  3. Enter the wallet address.
  4. Enter a readable label.
  5. Save the wallet.
  6. Open Watchlist and confirm the wallet appears in private scope.

Add a wallet in group scope

Use group scope when:

  • the wallet is relevant to one Telegram community
  • multiple members should see the same tracked row
  • alerts and watchlist history should stay attached to that group

Typical path:

  1. Add the bot to the Telegram group.
  2. Make sure you have the required rights for that group.
  3. Start the add-group-wallet flow in Telegram or in the Mini App Manage tab.
  4. Enter the wallet address.
  5. Enter a readable label.
  6. Save the wallet.
  7. Switch to that group's scope and confirm the wallet appears there.

A wallet added for a group does not automatically appear in your private scope. This is expected behavior.

Rename a wallet

Rename a wallet when:

  • the current label is unclear
  • the owner changed
  • you want a cleaner watchlist

Typical path:

  1. Open Manage.
  2. Find the wallet row.
  3. Choose the rename action.
  4. Enter the new label.
  5. Save the change.

The address stays the same. Only the visible label changes.

Remove a wallet

Remove a wallet when:

  • you no longer want alerts for it
  • the watchlist is full and you want to free space
  • the wallet was added by mistake

Typical path:

  1. Open Manage.
  2. Find the wallet row.
  3. Choose delete or remove.
  4. Confirm the action.

After removal, the wallet should disappear from the active watchlist for that scope.

List your current wallets

If you are not sure what is already tracked:

  • use /list in Telegram for a chat-based view
  • or open Manage in the Mini App for a fuller interface

The Mini App is better when you have more than a few wallets because it is easier to scan and manage.

Best practices

  • Use short, readable labels.
  • Keep private and group tracking separate on purpose.
  • Check the selected scope before saying a wallet is missing.
  • Remove old test wallets so your watchlist stays useful.
  • Use group scope only when the wallet really belongs to that group workflow.
